We are an American Heart Association (AHA) Regional CPR Training Site located in Eugene, OR, operating under the Samaritan Health Services Training Center. We have been providing CPR and First Aid training for groups and individuals since 1982. All courses meet updated AHA guidelines and are taught by fully trained and experienced instructors. Each CPR or First Aid course will provide students with the cognitive and psychomotor skills needed to handle themselves properly in a medical emergency. Group courses may take place on-site at your requested location or at the training facilities of The CPR & First Aid Training Center.
Our mission is to train professionals and the general public with basic life-saving skills and give the ability to initiate the chain of survival safely. We provide certification courses, where an American Heart Assocation card is issued, confirming that you have attended and passed the training. Our Healthcare Provider CPR courses are equivalent to Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR training. This course is for those training to work or working in the medical field: Nurses, Physicians, EMTs, Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Students, Lifeguards, etc.
Our Heartsaver courses are for non-medical companies (office and warehouse staff), parents, coaches, fitness instructors, teachers, camp staff, foster care providers, tattoo artists, massage therapists, etc.
